Miniature and Neon Light Bulbs
This gallery features 2 seemingly unrelated bulb types- however when I was going through my collection to build these galleries I found there were simply not enough of either type to fill a gallery of their own. So, anticipating that the future will continue in a similar way, I have decided to combine the two into one gallery. Some cross over anyway- ie, they are miniature neon bulbs- so what better place to put them?!
Miniature light bulbs- well I don`t really have a specified cutoff point, size-wise, to classify miniature bulbs by, but it is fairly safe to say that all the bulbs here are really small. Some smaller than others. Some so small you need a magnifying glass to see them! No, really!
Neon bulbs are not necessarily just confined to neon-gas filled lamps. This refers to all gas filled glow-lamps, from the small indicator bulbs to the full sized figural types. This will include argon types as well as phosphor coated coloured ones too.
All the bulbs featured here are from my own collection and details about them are provided if I know them. For those bulbs that have little or no information, if you have anything to share then please contact me and I`ll add them alongside the appropriate bulb. Of course if any of my details are wrong please feel free to point out the errors, I don`t want to give incorrect information here and try not to, to the best of my ability.
Click on the thumbnail images to bring up more pictures of the bulb and those details. Where possible I will show that particular bulb illuminated on a low voltage to show what it looks like when lit.
